Partners who have run Facebook ads should know that when they use credit cards to bind their cards to run FB ads, Facebook ads will first grant you a payment threshold, and then deduct the fee from the credit card when the amount spent reaches this limit. In general, the bill amount is only $5 at the beginning. The longer the advertisement runs, the higher the bill amount Facebook will give you, which can be up to $900 at most. The limit cumulative gradient of the payment threshold is generally $5 $10 $25 $50 $75 $125 $175 $250 $400 $600 $900. If you don’t want to pay the $900, you must first ensure that your advertising can live up to the bill limit of $900. After that, even if your credit card is out of money, FB will still pay you the $900 advertising fee in advance. Then we can use the virtual card to replace our credit card, and not pay the $900 advertising fee successfully.
Brief Introduction to Payment Threshold
The bill amount is an amount that will determine the time you spend paying the advertising fee according to the amount you spend.
You can see the bill amount to establish a good Facebook payment record: This refers to the amount you can invest in the advertisement before we charge you. When you launch advertisements on Facebook, you will incur advertising expenses. When the advertising fee reaches your bill limit, we will charge you the amount.
When you first start advertising on Facebook, your bill will be automatically set to a small amount. However, as you successfully pay the bill limit, the system may increase the bill limit until the account reaches the upper limit.
For example, suppose you just created your first ad, and your ad account bill is $25. Advertising will incur costs when it is launched. If your outstanding advertising expenses reach $25, we will charge you $25.
After you pay, your outstanding balance will be cleared, and the bill amount may be increased to a new higher amount. As the advertising continues, the costs will begin to arise again. Therefore, in a month, you may reach the bill limit once or many times, or you may reach the bill limit zero times, depending on your bill limit and the amount you spend on advertising. This is why the system may charge you multiple times in a month. For this reason, the system may charge you after you purchase the advertisement or even after you stop advertising.
After the bill amount reaches $900, if the advertising quality is still good and it continues to be profitable, you can continue to run your ads normally. If there is an imbalance in advertising revenue and expenditure, then it is okay not to pay the advertising fee. Note that the money on your main card must be cleared first, and then bind your virtual card. After the virtual card is set as the main card, then your credit card can be removed from the payment method.
